Your objective
- Collect the pellets throughout the maze to complete the level.
- Avoid the roaches. You start with five lives; collisions can cost a life.
- Use power-ups to change the chase in your favor.
- Finish a level to continue to the next one, where the roach swarm grows.
Controls
- Desktop: use the arrow keys to choose a direction.
- Mobile: swipe anywhere on the maze in the direction you want to move.
- Sound: use the speaker icon to mute or unmute audio.
- Leave the game: use the door icon to return to the game menu. The current run is not saved.
Items and abilities
- Shield: temporary protection from collisions.
- Whirlwind: temporary speed and protection.
- Heart: adds one life.
- Clock: slows the roaches for 10 seconds.
- Snowflake: freezes the roaches for 5 seconds.
- Power pellets: activate the ability shown by the item, such as a spray, slipper, or monster form. Effects are temporary.
- Bomb: in later levels, collecting the bomb triggers a maze-wide blast.
Some roaming items appear only in specific levels. Watch the paths and collect them before they leave the maze.
Score and progress
Regular pellets add points, and special items award bonuses. The high score is stored locally in your browser; it is not an online leaderboard and does not sync between devices.
